The new academic year is underway! As we put fiscal year 2020/21 behind us, we want to make you aware of reports that are available to review fiscal year, 2020/21 close and point to some information about the new fiscal year, 2021/22.
We’re writing with this year’s plan for the 2020/21 fiscal year-end close. The year-end close process for the School of Humanities and Sciences has not changed from last year. This year we will continue to use the suite of reports provided on the H&S Financial Dashboard, including the OB and Non-OB reports. More details are included in the OB and Non-OB Close Tasks sections below.
Emails were sent today from UIT and FMS to call attention to the two recent enhancements. The Authority Manager module has been enhanced and an Alternative Payment Solution Project (Digital Payments) has been launched.
Key dates for the FY22 Operating Budget planning in BPS.
Writing to confirm that the FY 2020/21 budget savings policy will be the same as it has been for the past two years. Departments and programs will be allowed to move all operating budget general fund surpluses to their Budget Savings account. This policy will be reevaluated for FY 2021/22 as our financial situation becomes clearer.
